The purpose of this publication is to provide the descriptions, procedures and detailed parameter explanations required to allow for safe and efficient use of the ST90 system. The publication also provides you with a thorough understanding of the parameters and adjustments provided by the ST90 system.
The Operating Panel offers all necessary control functions for normal operation.
The User Settings dialog box is used to store your favourite settings. These settings can be related to different operations, environmental conditions or basic personal preferences. You can use different settings to create as many user profiles as you like, and give them any name. The Operating Panel allows you to assign certain functions to dedicated buttons and switches. This includes user settings and presentation modes.
The Mk2 Operating Panel is fitted with three rotary switches. The Mk3 Operating Panel is fitted with two rotary switches. The switches are identified with numbers. Each switch can be assigned a function related to range, gain, bearing or tilt. The Mk1 Operating Panel does not support this functionality.
The Mk2 Operating Panel is fitted with three function buttons. The buttons are identified as F1, F2 and F3. Each button can be assigned a dedicated function.
The technical specifications summarize the main functional and operational characteristics of the ST90 system. They also provide information related to power requirements, physical properties and environmental conditions.
The ST90 system can send and receive information to and from several different peripherals. All transmissions take place as datagrams with data sentences. Each datagram has a defined format and length.
