Bottom bar

The bottom bar is located at the bottom of the display presentation and stretches from the left side to the right side. The tabs on the bottom bar allow you to choose presentation mode.

How to open

The bottom bar is available all the time.

Description

(A) Presentation Modes

Each presentation mode offered by the ST90 system provides a selection of views in a predefined pattern.

By default, the views are arranged automatically in the presentation. Click on the view border, hold the button depressed, then drag the border to create a smaller or larger rectangle. Note that the size of the other views are changed accordingly!

If you have many presentation modes on a small display, two small arrows appear on the left side of the bottom bar. You can use these arrows to scroll the bottom bar sideways.

Use the functionality offered by the Presentation Mode page to choose which presentation modes to choose from.

(B) Colour Scale

The colour scale on the bottom bar reflects the colour choice you have made for the echo presentations. To change the colour scale, use the Colour Setup dialog box. You open the Colour Setup dialog box from the Display menu.

(C) Transceiver Status

The small circular button on the bottom bar reflects the status of the transceiver. Colour codes are used. A green light means that the system is operational. Right-click to start, restart or stop the transceiver. If you want to monitor the start-up sequence, double-click the Transceiver Status indicator to open the Transceiver On/Off dialog box. In the Transceiver On/Off dialog box, select Advanced to start, restart or stop the transceiver.

(D) Date and time

The date and time of the latest ping are displayed on the right side of the bottom bar. During replay the date and time in the recording are shown. Date and time are shown with a prefix. P: indicates Normal mode. R: indicates Replay mode.

Presentation Modes

Use the functionality offered by the Presentation Mode page to choose which presentation modes to choose from. This can be useful for several reasons:

  • A small display monitor may not be able to show you all the presentation mode tabs.
  • You don't need to scroll.
  • You can hide the presentation modes that you hardly or never use.
