The purpose of this publication is to provide the descriptions and procedures required to allow for efficient use of the ST90 system. The manual does not contain detailed information about functions, dialog boxes and operating parameters.
All echoes offered by the ST90 system are shown in rectangular views. Combinations of these views are organized in presentation modes.To open a presentation mode use the relevant tab on the bottom bar.Use the functionality offered by the Presentation Mode page to choose which presentation modes to choose from.
It is often helpful to see information about the cursor and the active markers in the view.Use the Cursor Readout functionality to add information to the readout fields in the bottom corners of the view.
Each operating mode is presented with a set of views. These are placed at different positions with different sizes. If you have several displays connected to your Processor Unit you can even move selected views to another display. With the Docking Views function you can move and re-size the views in the display presentation.

If you have used Docking Views to rearrange the position and size of your views, you must use User Settings to restore all the views to their default positions.

The technical specifications summarize the main functional and operational characteristics of the ST90 system. They also provide information related to power requirements, physical properties and environmental conditions.
The ST90 system can send and receive information to and from several different peripherals. All transmissions take place as datagrams with data sentences. Each datagram has a defined format and length.
