Accessing the screen capture images to delete, move or copy them
When the screen capture images have been saved, you may wish to delete them, copy them, or move them to a separate storage device.
It is assumed that you are familiar with the Microsoft® operating system utilities for file handling.
You need a data storage device. This is typically a large capacity USB flash drive or a small portable hard disk. You can also connect the computer to a network, and copy the files to a server.
Procedure
- Prepare a data storage device.
- Select Minimize on the right side of the top bar.
- Open a file manager utility.
- On the computer keyboard,
press ⊞ Win+E to open the file manager.
or:
- From the Windows® Start button, right-click to open File Explorer.
- On the computer keyboard,
press ⊞ Win+E to open the file manager.
- Navigate to the folder you chose to use for the screen captures.
or:
Navigate to the default folder.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Simrad\ST90\ScreenDumps
- Use the functionality provided by the operating system to delete the files, or to copy or move them to the storage device.
- Close the file manager utility.
- Select the ST90 button on the operating system taskbar to restore the display presentation.
