Select Audio to turn the audio output on or off.
How to open
To open, select this button on the Operation menu.
Description
The audio output provided by the ST90 system adds sound to the user experience. Many experienced users find the audio information very useful. They claim that the audio information increases the efficiency. A trained ear easily detects echoes by the way they sound.
To change the setting, move the cursor to either side of the button, and select On or Off.
If you need to adjust the volume use the controls on the audio equipment.
To use audio, you must connect an amplifier with loudspeakers to the audio output on the Processor Unit. You can use an amplifier with a headset, or a commercial PC speaker system. The audio system must be provided with a separate volume control.
The necessary audio components must be purchased locally.

- Audio Sector function
With the Audio Sector function, you can listen to the audio from all the beams in a user-defined sector. Select Audio Sector to open the choices under the button.
Select Audio Beam to retrieve audio information only from this beam.
Select any opening angle to specify the width of the listening beam from which the ST90 system will obtain audio information. The listening beam places the audio beam in the middle. The entire listening beam rotates when the audio beam rotates.
- Bearing function
The Bearing function controls the horizontal direction of the Vertical view, the audio beam and the beam in each Inspection view.
The solid bearing line in the Horizontal view controls the audio beam. If you have two Horizontal views, the solid line in the Horizontal 1 view controls the audio beam.
