Motion function
In selected views you can control how the vessel symbol shall "behave" in the presentation. The way the vessel moves in the presentation can be chosen either true or relative.
How to open
Open this function from the Display menu. It is not available in all the views.
Description
The following options are available:
- True Motion
In True Motion mode, the view is kept geographically motionless. The vessel symbols moves around in the view to reflect its true movements. If the symbol attempts to leave the view, the presentation is automatically adjusted.
- Relative
In Relative mode, the view is continuously updating its geographical position and orientation based on the vessel movements. The vessel symbols is kept motionless at the centre of the view.
The map is only shown in Horizontal views when Range Projection is set to True.
