View Range function
Use View Range to expand the range shown in the relevant views to any percentage of the original Range setting. The expansion is made without resizing the echoes using a "zoom" effect.
How to open
Open this function from the Display menu.

Description
The Range function allows you to specify the maximum distance from the transducer to the outer edge of the sonar beam. By default, the range shown in each relevant view is adjusted to the chosen Range setting. For example, if you set the range to 500 metres, the outer range of the view is also limited to 500 m.
In some situations you may wish to expand the range in the sonar presentations. Use View Range to expand the range shown in the relevant views to any percentage of the original Range setting. When you define a value for View Range the presentation will shift to the new range, while the range defined by the Range setting is identified with a thicker circle.
This function can be used if you wish to move your ship symbol to the bottom of the view. You can then expand the range without adding zoom.
If you increase the tilt, and then exceed the range using the View Range function, Coverage Plot will indicate the current practical range with a circle. The same applies if you set Range Projection to True.
